Stop Adding Offers. Start Owning One.

What a $25,000 Offer Taught Me About the Power of Doing Less

By Tali Kogan

The Trap of Doing More

For years, I thought the way to grow my business was to do more. More services, more offers, more clients, more yeses. I am a recovering people pleaser, so if a client asked me for something, I would figure out a way to offer it. At one point I had six different offers for six different types of clients. I thought I was being smart and giving people options, but in reality I was confusing my clients and exhausting myself. I was constantly reinventing what I was selling, what I was charging, and how I was delivering it.

The Strategy That Moved the Needle

One of the biggest strategies that moved the needle in my business was actually doing LESS. I stopped trying to be everything to everyone and created ONE signature offer for ONE ideal client, focused on ONE powerful transformation. Instead of asking myself, “What else can I offer?” or “What should I charge per hour?” I started asking a completely different question: “What transformation am I uniquely capable of creating for this woman, and what experience does she need to get there?”

Building One Signature Transformation

That question eventually became Calling Forth the Queen, my signature styling experience. And this is where everything started to change for me. I stopped thinking of myself as someone who was simply shopping for clothes and putting outfits together. I started looking at the entire experience and asking, “Who is this woman becoming?” We created her vision, her signature style, her wardrobe, the shopping experience, the photoshoot, and everything she needed to actually see and experience this next version of herself.

What Happened After the Styling

And then I started noticing what happened AFTER my clients worked with me. Yes, they looked incredible, but that was only the beginning. My clients became more visible. They stepped onto bigger stages. They launched businesses and brands. They increased their income. They attracted opportunities. Some found love. They took risks they had been afraid to take. They expanded.

Of course, I am not saying an outfit magically creates income, success, or love. But I have seen over and over again that when a woman sees herself differently, she shows up differently. And when she shows up differently, she makes different decisions. That is why I always say, “You can attract anything in life if you dress for it.”

Learning Where the Real Value Was

This realization was especially meaningful for me because I came into this industry with so many insecurities. I was an accountant. English was my third language. I had no formal fashion education, and for years I wondered if that meant I wasn’t qualified enough. But my clients taught me that the value of my work wasn’t in a degree hanging on my wall or in how many hours I spent shopping. The value was in the transformation I could create.

One Offer. One Ideal Client. One Transformation.

Today, Calling Forth the Queen is a $25,000 experience. But raising my price wasn’t the strategy that changed my business. Creating ONE transformational offer and becoming known for it was.

I didn’t need six offers. I didn’t need to work more hours. And I didn’t need to be everything to everyone. I needed to get really clear on the woman I wanted to serve, the transformation I knew I could create for her, and then build an unforgettable experience around it.

That lesson changed my entire business:

Sometimes your next level doesn’t come from doing more. It comes from getting clear enough and brave enough to do less, do it exceptionally well, and become known for it.
